Rustic Refined Dining Room Showcases Upcycled Design
The open dining room off the kitchen at DIY Network Ultimate Retreat 2017 includes an upcycled wood table, custom pantry wall and beverage station that makes it easy to entertain family and friends.

Custom Dining Table
The dining table was made using oak flooring from the existing home laid in a diamond pattern for the top, paired with a set of four industrial-strength brushed stainless steel hairpin legs with leveling feet and a midcentury modern feel.

Local Flavor
Canoe paddles that decorate the back wall of the dining room are a nod to Lake Champlain. The oars were leftover pieces from the Adirondack chairs built for the home's lower deck, spray painted to mimic some of the colors used throughout the house.
