Loaded with a fire pit surrounded by boulders, an amazing barbecue station made with reclaimed wood, with a built-in refrigerator and gas barbecue with zinc countertops, new outdoor furniture, decomposed granite path, sod, flowers, trees, and shrub, this space is ready for the ultimate entertaining or peaceful relaxation.
DIY's Yard Crashers, Matt Blashaw, designed this backyard space to be an entertainers delights. Over 100 foot of deck leads from an outdoor dining area to a wrap around sitting bench area to the grill space. Color in fabric and landscaping adds warmth making the space cozy and fun!
The metalwork water feature is fashioned out of common industrial pipe. Other recycled and reclaimed materials include salvaged pallet wood used to create a custom fence and outdoor furniture.The finished backyard transformation was by licensed contractor Matt Blashaw and his crew as seen on the DIY Networks' original series 'Yard Crashers'.
This rock wall serves many purposes for this renewed back yard. First, it adds a splash of warm color to the space making it more inviting. Second, the waterfall offers the sounds of tranquility by masking the sound of the nearby train tracks and lastly it provides an amazing focal for entertaining or relaxing!
With the backyard overhaul complete, a fire crackles in this inviting fire pit of this new back yard featuring a deck and pergola in the background. Black lattice chairs, earthtone pillows, yellow ceramic pots, and red glass hurricane lamps provide multiple accents around the outdoor fire pit and seating area.
