Comprised of contemporary elements this backyard space is now a welcoming, entertaining spot. DIY's Yard Crashers, Matt Blashaw incorporated privacy, color, and fun into one space with a metal and glass fire feature, bicycle barn, fish fountain water feature as well as a new barbecue and privacy fence.
This rock wall serves many purposes for this renewed back yard. First, it adds a splash of warm color to the space making it more inviting. Second, the waterfall offers the sounds of tranquility by masking the sound of the nearby train tracks and lastly it provides an amazing focal for entertaining or relaxing!
The metalwork water feature is fashioned out of common industrial pipe. Other recycled and reclaimed materials include salvaged pallet wood used to create a custom fence and outdoor furniture. The finished backyard transformation was by licensed contractor Matt Blashaw and his crew as seen on the DIY Networks' original series 'Yard Crashers'.
This incredible backyard space is prefect for entertaining. The wood wall offers a great focal point for the space and by adding the garden containers you get added color and dimension but the designer Matt Blashaw from DIY's Yard Crashers didn't just stop there. He added a beautiful floating bench and drop down bar/serving area.
