Season 1, Episode 11
Sledgehammer Family Fun
The Tabors have a lower level that is crowded, cramped and overrun with kids' toys. The Tabors' three children use the space as a play area. Courtney and Brandon would like to use it as a relaxing area, but it's anything but relaxing. They want to smash some walls and reconfigure the space to make it usable for everyone in the family. Jason Cameron is up to the task. He gives the Tabors 30 minutes to smash all the walls in their house that they hate. Project one is the lower level. When that's complete, the Tabors move upstairs to knock down a wall separating the kitchen and dining area, but time runs out! Jason promises to fix up the lower level. He creates an illusion of more height in the room with a creative tray ceiling. He also gives the room an updated look by replacing the brick fireplace surround with modern tile. Jason builds a custom play table for the kids with cubbies for all of their building blocks, and he gives Courtney her own work space proving just about anything is possible with power of the Sledgehammer.
