Season 5, Episode 1

Gomolka Kitchen

Stephanie Gomolka and Arawan Gajaviva hate their kitchen but love everything else about their house. They tried to knock down a wall, but never committed to it because of some wiring and a thermostat. They now find themselves completely stalled, and are in desperate need of help. So Kayleen McCabe is here to get them rolling again. She plans to open up their space, and give them a layout that is inviting and functional.

Season 5, Episode 2

Hopping Master Suite

Katherine and Ben Hopping unexpectedly found themselves in a bathroom remodel. After trying - and failing - to fix the leaks all over their house, they ended up not using their master bath at all. Now, Kayleen McCabe and her crew are here to help them reclaim their unused bathroom, and turn it into something spectacular. Of course, they'll also fix some plumbing problems along the way.

Season 5, Episode 3

Brown Great Room

Jeremy and Dana tried to renovate their kitchen, but quickly found themselves in over their heads - and Jeremy may have made things worse with some creative wiring solutions. They've already bought their cabinets, but haven't even begun to figure out where to put them, so their brand new cabinets have been sitting in the garage for months. The kitchen connects to the living room and dining area, but an awkward and boxy layout keeps the space from living up to its full potential. Now, Kayleen McCabe and her team are ready to tear down the walls and take this space out of the box. Along the way, they'll set the electrical straight, configure the cabinets, and uncover the great in this great room.

Season 5, Episode 4

Stepien Basement

Kristin and JJ wanted to create a beautiful basement, and started framing it in. But a contractor friend informed them they'd done it all wrong. So they gave up, and left the basement as a place to keep their dogs. They still want a functional space, but have no idea how to go about it. Enter Kayleen McCabe and her crew, who will put this basement back on top. The dogs can stay, but the undefined space and flawed framing will definitely have to go!

Season 5, Episode 5

Wilson Basement

Nick and Savanna began to remodel their bad basement four years ago. Nick did the demo, and started a few projects, including having a new support beam installed. However, the beam was not installed correctly, and Nick quickly realized he didn't have the skills to finish all these projects, so the basement has sat neglected for four years. Now, Kayleen McCabe and her crew are on hand to banish this bad basement, and turn it into a pub-style playground that both adults and kids can enjoy. Along the way, they'll install proper support, add a bath, reclaim the fireplace, and build a bar that's truly one-of-a-kind.

Season 5, Episode 6

O'Hare Backyard

Aaron and his roommates, Chris and Brooklyn, began giving their backyard a facelift about a year ago, but discovered they didn't have the tools or the skills to finish the job. They tried to get rid of the broken hot tub, but only managed to scatter its pieces across the yard. But now, at long last, licensed contractor Kayleen McCabe and her team of experts are on hand to pick up the pieces and put this backyard makeover back on track. They'll get rid of the hot tub remnants forever, install a new deck, a bar, a fire pit, and much more. And before it's over, they'll make this backyard a private oasis to die for!

Season 5, Episode 7

Quicke Breezeway and Yards

Scott and Krista bought a bank-owned home, and it needed a lot of work. They renovated the entire interior from top to bottom, but ran out of steam before finishing the breezeway and side yards. The breezeway connects the house to the garage, and was once a heated, useable space. But over the years, it's seen water damage, and also lost its heat source. But now, Kayleen McCabe and her team or renovation rescuers are ready to change the forecast for this blustery breezeway. Along the way, they'll unify the breezeway and yards with stamped concrete flooring, open up the breezeway with new accordion-style doors, install a fireplace and add an outdoor kitchen in a side yard. And when they're finished, their new breezeway will blow Scott and Krista away.

Season 5, Episode 8

Siegel/Jansen Backyard

Married couple Matthew and Megan have suffered with a dilapidated, dysfunctional backyard for years. They've patched doorways, planted bulbs, and tried to make the backyard workable. But their efforts never seemed to pay off. Now, licensed contractor Kayleen McCabe and her team of renovation rescuers are on the case, and they'll make this backyard picture perfect. Along the way, they'll reconfigure doorways, create a relaxing patio, install a pond and waterfall, and splash the backyard with colorful plants. And when it's done, this yard will be breathtaking!

Season 5, Episode 9

McCabe Kitchen

Host Kayleen McCabe's dad, David, still lives in the house Kayleen grew up in. 12 years ago, he started to remodel the kitchen, but couldn't ever figure out how to get the layout right. So it's sat in a half-renovated state for more than a decade. As a licensed contractor, Kayleen knows she must make this right. So she and the Rescue Renovation team take on a very special project, renovating the kitchen of Kayleen's childhood home, to help give her dad a magnificent custom kitchen. They'll finally perfect the awkward layout that gave David so much trouble, and replace the builder-grade cabinets and appliances with more modern fare. They'll torch wood to make a table, craft a custom oven hood, and stack this kitchen with as many creature comforts as it can handle. And when it's all said and done, there won't be a dry eye in the house.

Season 5, Episode 10

Lenamond Back Porch

Married couple Scott and Gretchen are so afraid their back porch will collapse, they've stopped using it altogether. Scott started renovating it, but once he pulled off the roof panels, he discovered the porch is not supported at all, and it's sagging. One support beam doesn't even touch the roof! Beneath the porch, the brick foundation is crumbling. And Scott realized he was way in over his head, so he's let the porch remodel stall for ages. Now, licensed contractor Kayleen McCabe and her team of renovation rescuers will save this porch from inevitable collapse, turning it into a perfect space to relax. Along the way, they'll repair the brick foundation, install proper support for the roof, move windows around and add an outdoor kitchen. And when it's finished, this back porch will move from the danger zone into the comfort zone.

Season 5, Episode 11

Fjeseth Attic Bedroom

Marco and Jayme started renovating their attic bedroom about a year ago. They tore out the old room, and managed to get the drywall up, but it was not their proudest project. They can still spot peeling tape and bubbles in the drywall mud. The staircase they had built for access to the attic is now bowing, and already needs to be replaced. Luckily, Kayleen McCabe and her team or renovation rescuers are ready to step up and scale the heights of this ailing attic. They'll replace the rickety stairs with a new spiral staircase, make sure the drywall doesn't peel or bubble, build a bed stand with plenty of extra storage, and add a seating area to make this a space to relax. And when it's finished, Kayleen and co. will make sure this attic is back on top.

Season 5, Episode 12

Perry Basement Bedroom

Rusty and Deborah's dark, dungeon-like basement has been stuck in renovation limbo for 14 years! They wanted to turn it into a fantastic guest bedroom, but they quickly realized the job was much too big for them to tackle themselves. So the basement has sat, and sat, and sat some more... Luckily, Kayleen McCabe and crew are ready to rescue this basement from the dungeon. They'll bring some much-needed light by adding an egress window, revamp the layout to accommodate a guest bedroom, update the electrical and plumbing all around, and give this dark, dingy basement some beautiful custom touches. And when it's finished, Rusty and Deborah won't want to save the space for guests, they'll want it for themselves!

Season 5, Episode 13

Jorgensen Basement Theater

Tyler and Lora began work on their basement renovation two years ago, but Tyler quickly realized his DIY skills were maxed. He'd worked on a basement project in the past, and it did not turn out well - to say the least. So to avoid a second disaster, he simply stopped working on the basement. They'd like to turn it into a home theater, but they just don't know how to get the job done. Lucky for them, Kayleen McCabe and crew are on hand, and they've got the ticket to turn this basement into a blockbuster of a home theater. They'll install a top-notch projector system, theater seats, custom acoustic panels, cabinetry, a wine fridge, and everything else a home theater needs, right down to the popcorn maker. And by the time the end credits roll, Tyler and Lora's basement home theater will be front row!

Season 5, Episode 14

Hopping Master Suite

Now, Kayleen McCabe and her crew are here to help them reclaim their unused bathroom, and turn it into something spectacular. Of course, they'll also fix some plumbing problems along the way.
