Yurt builders Nathan and Jenny Toler live in a village of yurts on the North Shore of Oahu but their family is growing, so they're adding on and building a whopping 1,400-square-foot yurt at the far end of their property. For this large-scale build, they're pulling out all the stops, creating an octagonal shaped kitchen made of native Kamani nut, funky stairs and a curvy media room. With just six weeks to finish this yurt before the rainy season begins, they scramble to give it a total wow factor.

Unique to this build are the specially engineered window frames Nathan must design to keep out Vog, or volcanic air pollution, that Austin is severely allergic to. Complete with romantic western touches and a custom farmhouse table as a wedding gift to the couple, this truly is a Love Yurt.
