Season 4, Episode 1

Blue-B-Gone

Jack and Ann love everything about their 1901 house, except the master bathroom. The victim of a 1970s remodel, the room features a dozen different shades of blue, but not for long. With the help of licensed contractor Matt Muenster they'll create a classic, elegant space that's in keeping with the character of the rest of their home.

Downstairs Dungeon

Licensed contractor Matt Muenster helps homeowner Casey take on the rundown basement bathroom in his 1929 Tudor-style home. Borrowing space from the adjoining laundry room, Matt and Casey first enlarge the room and then finish it off with a clean-lined, contemporary look.

Homecoming Surprise

Newlywed Rachel's husband Nick has been in Iraq for the past 11 months. During that time Rachel has been keeping up with the home repairs and minor remodeling. Enter designer Matt Muenster who arrives just in time to help Rachel give Nick a welcome home surprise that he won't soon forget. A new Whirlpool bath, amazing Jerusalem Gold tile, and heated floor tiles transform this once dungeon-like basement bathroom into a romantic getaway for two.

The Pink Bomb

Mitch and Valerie's 1950's home is cursed with the taste of Mamie Eisenhower; pink everywhere. Licensed contractor Matt Muenster steps in to update their pink nightmare of a bathroom. He adds a new tiled back splash to the shower, a new modern countertop and fixtures, and building hidden storage into the closet space, meeting the homeowners' conservative, contemporary tastes.

Stoned

Licensed contractor Matt Muenster will have to play mediator when it comes to the tastes of homeowners Angela and Nathan. Angela prefers a contemporary modern look while her husband Nathan likes his design rustic. Matt meets the couple in the middle by bringing the outdoors in with contemporary natural stone for the shower and the tub. A concrete countertop and custom glass pieces highlight the blend of a natural look with a modern feel.

Bathroom Trip

Newly engaged John and Allison have been busy blending their lives and their styles, neither of which can be found in there dreadful blah-blue bathroom. Licensed contractor Matt Muenster steps in to help the couple take their bathroom back by dressing up the boring tub with wood trim and gel tile, a brand new modern shower with a surround made of aircraft aluminum, and breathtaking granite countertops with drop down sinks. Combine all that with the custom inset cabinets and you have the perfect bathroom for two.

Brick Bye Brick

Newlyweds Todd and Austene aren't sure how long they'll be in their 1956 rambler, but stay or sell, they know their tiny bathroom - complete with faux brick paneling, mold and outdated wallpaper - needs to go. Despite having a tight budget and limited skills, they're taking everything down to the studs. Enter licensed contractor Matt Muenster, who will carve out more space (thanks to an adjoining bedroom) then fill it up with slate, glass and a steam shower. His and her vanities plus heated floors will complete the spa experience.

Fired Up

A devastating fire claimed Bryan and Sarah's home, but not their sense of hope. After spending a ton of energy rebuilding from the ground up, this couple is burned out. Not able to face the prospect of picking out another light fixture, finish or faucet, they call in licensed contractor Matt Muenster to help them take their master bathroom to the finish line. Matt exceeds their expectations with a super-sized shower, wooden wall relief and body drier, plus a few luxury surprises.

Hole in One

With estimates to replace their dated 80s-style bathroom topping out at $100,000, Jim and Karen knew that to get what they wanted at a price they could afford, they were going to have to get their hands dirty. Wall-to-wall stone, a free-standing tub and a two-sided fireplace are just some of the high-end extras licensed contractor Matt Muenster brings in to give this couple the bathroom of their dreams.

Geek to Me

IT professionals Heather and Adam get rid of a whole lot of ugly and bring in a room full of cool with the help of licensed contractor Matt Muenster. High-tech gadgets, fiber optic finishes and a few sleek surprises will help turn this couple's tired bathroom into a contemporary space well suited for the next millennium.

Cocktails in the Crapper

Matt Haws has renovated most of the rooms in his 1880s house...except the master bathroom. Full of mold, dirt and a disgustingly large bathtub he and his roommates have named "Big Blue," the room is a complete mess. But with the help of licensed contractor Matt Muenster, he'll get rid of the dirt and create a clean, classy yet rustic space that fits in with the old-school style of the house.

Cheap to Chic

Megan and Jude's 1980s bathroom was the best the decade had to offer, which wasn't saying much. With the help of licensed contractor Matt Muenster, they exchange cheap for chic with a ton of tile, upscale fixtures and luxury extras.

Rustic Retreat

What do you get when you cross a 1970s ranch-style home nestled in the Catskills of New York with a handful of DIY experts? A modern day retreat designed with input from viewers who vote on the cabin's features. Licensed contractor Matt Muenster joins forces with licensed contractor John DeSilvia to create a bathroom as restful and beautiful as the mountain scenery in which it's located.
