It’s been a long wait, but the boys of Barnwood Builders are finally back with all-new episodes! While we can’t wait to see what incredible projects Mark and the gang work on this season, it’s the guys themselves that make this show so lovable. These self-proclaimed hillbillies are all about keeping the mood light, whether they’re doing some seriously heavy lifting or spending their downtime chowing down on a pepperoni roll. (Haven’t tried one yet? Get on it!)

We’ve rounded up a few of our favorite moments from the show so far in celebration of season 5 (!). Let us know your favorites on Twitter with the hashtag #BarnwoodBuilders, and don’t forget to tune in Sunday at 9|8c on DIY Network.

When the guys bonded over scents:

“I love [candles]. The [more] scented, the better. Potpourri smell drives me crazy.”

When Johnny shared his experience with a hypotenuse:

“A hypotenuse? Yeah, I seen it cross the crick awhile ago.”

When Mark revealed his alternate career path:

“I can’t imagine doing anything else as a career unless I had an option to be Batman. And I think you’ve gotta choose Batman every single time.”

When Alex came prepared with this comeback:

Mark: “Alex, you like plums.”

Alex: “Yeah, boy. It’s plum hot out here.”

When Mark showed off his “serious” side:

“Mark’s not serious at all. He keeps a pretty light mood ... Joke around. Carry on. Practical jokes. He’s a lot of fun to work for. Is he standing right behind me?”

When a few fake goats couldn't be bothered:

Johnny: “It’s a perfect day. Perfect. Sun is shining; no rain clouds in sight. Them goats over there haven’t moved since we’ve been here.”

When Johnny shared this life-changing quote:

“Stay calm, have a pepperoni roll.”

When Mark got real about the weather:

“It looks like it's really cloudy out. But it's 100% chance of work.”

When a build got spiritual:

Mark: “What’s the coolest thing you ever found?”

Johnny: “Jesus.”
