Tips for Installing a Macerating System

If you want to install a toilet in an area that doesn't have plumbing, you can install a macerating system. Here are some tips on how it works.

The bowl empties through a discharge line into a tank.

The tank houses a pump that macerates the contents from the bowl then pushes them out.

Make sure you have a GFCI outlet, water vent and drain lines nearby in order to use this type of system.
