From Boring Basement to Chic Martini Bar
A bland and cluttered basement gets a total transformation from the House Crashers team.

Before: Storage Mess
With a divided floor plan, the basement provides no place to entertain guests. A proper arrangement of furniture, additional recessed lighting and a vibrant splash of color will visually expand the space, making it ideal for hosting parties and get-togethers.
After: Entertainment Oasis
Situated in the center of the living area, the floating sectional now feels and looks at home. A chartreuse and ivory color scheme prevents the basement from feeling cramped and enclosed by promoting a lively and energetic tone.
Before: Plain Beige
Surrounded by a sea of clutter and beige, this modern leather sectional appears mismatched and out of place. Low-hanging ductwork makes the living area feel unnecessarily cramped.
After: Guest Ready
The home is always prepared for guests with a hidden Murphy bed that quickly and easily folds up into the wall adjacent to the TV.
After: Modern Decor
A modern glass insert pulls in the chartreuse and hides the unsightly stairwell. The transparent display also provides an additional element to modernize the new martini bar and hangout.
After: Chic Kitchenette
A cramped kitchenette was revived and turned into a miniature martini bar, complete with a state-of-the-art wine cooler and plenty of bar essentials.
After: Table for Six
Nestled right next to the bar and with views of the new TV, a modern crisp white dining set finishes off the transformed basement. A geometric area rug visually separates the dining area from the living space, further expanding the joint basement.
