Rise & Shine

This year, help family and friends get the holidays — and their mornings — off to the right start. For personal details, stamped labels on kraft paper couldn’t be easier to create. Then artfully arrange the goodies in a festive tea towel for a burst of color and a pretty package that’s ready for gifting.

Tools & Materials

Wicker basket, printed tea towel, small loaf of pound cake, flat cello bags, pretty tape, berry preserves, glass canning jar, small spoon or spreader, twine, kraft paper, coffee beans, small folding brown paper bag, alphabet stamps and a black ink pad.

Create Labels

Use alphabet stamps to print the name of coffee beans onto the brown bag. Cut a circle out of kraft paper to fit the top of the canning jar, and stamp to write preserves type onto the circle.

Fill brown paper bag with coffee beans and fold over to seal. Fill canning jar with jam or preserves, place label on top of jar, and seal with jar clips. Tie spoon or spreader onto jar with with twine. Slide pound cake into cello bag and seal with patterned tape.

Line basket with tea towel, and carefully arrange coffee beans, pound cake and preserves in basket.
