Once fused, cut along the wing shape and remove the paper. Bend the wire into the shape of the top edge of the wings and place it on the shiny adhesive. Cut a few short pieces of wire for the "bones" of the wings.
Cover the wings with the wire in place then another piece of fleece. Cover the fleece with an ironing cloth or a thin piece of cotton and iron until the two pieces are fused. Cut the second layer of fleece into the existing wing shape.
To make the harness, measure your dog around the chest, half way down the back, and also around the waist. Cut the fleece into a modified H shape with the arms of the H matching your dog's chest and waist measurements plus 2" (the arms should be 2-1/2" wide). The center of the H should be about 8" wide and the length of half your dog's back. For example, on a medium dog, this harness has straps that measure 23" end to end and a center panel measuring 8" wide by 9" long.
