Introduction

Looking for a new twist to the typical little girl fairy costume? Make this pretty autumn-inspired skirt then pair it with a set of wings, a crown and a magic wand.
Step 1

Skirt Diagram
Create a square with the felt piece by folding in half widthwise and lengthwise. Use a tape measure to determine the waist measurement and divide that number by pi (3.14). This will be the radius to cut your top circle on the square of felt.
Step 2

Mark Waist Arc
Place the top of your tape measure in the upper left corner of your folded square of felt. Draw a line for the measurement you got previously. Continue measuring in a circle and tracing the radius measurement around until you get to the other fold. This will form your waist circle.
Step 3

Determine Length
Figure out how long you want the skirt to be by measuring from your waist to your knee. Transfer that measurement to the felt by measuring down from the waist circle.
Step 4

Cut Waist and Length
Cut along these marks.
Step 5

Voila - A Wrap Skirt
Open your circle skirt up and slit open one side so it becomes a wrap skirt.
Step 6

Add Foliage
Use a glue gun to attach all the leaves onto the wrap circle skirt.
Step 7

Accessorize
Place the skirt on and pin it closed with a brooch or large safety pin underneath the leaves. Grab your favorite woodland fairy accessories (wings and a crown) and you are ready for trick-or-treating.
