Introduction
Whether you’re nervous or just ate too much candy, sometimes you can’t help when your stomach gets in knots.
Step 1

Sam Henderson
Iron on Letters
Place a t-shirt on an ironing board. Insert parchment paper between the front and back layers of the t-shirt. On the front of the t-shirt arrange iron-on letters near the top of the shirt to spell out ‘stomach in knots’. Follow the directions for the iron-on letters to adhere them to the shirt. Allow to cool completely.
Step 2

Add Ropes
Turn the t-shirt over with the back facing upward. Move the parchment paper to the bottom half of the t-shirt. Cut four lengths of rope or thick twine at least 3’ long. Attach the ropes to the back of the shirt with a hot-glue gun, with the center of the ropes lined up with the middle of the back of the t-shirt.
Space each rope about 2-3 inches apart. Criss-cross a couple of the ropes if desired. When the glue has cooled, remove the parchment paper. Turn the shirt over and tie some knots in the loose tails.

Tie It Up
Put the shirt on the costume wearer and tie the loose ends together with another knot. Remove any excess rope or twine.
