Each candy corn is made from stacking three different yarn pompoms in yellow, orange and white. Start by using a pompom maker to make all your pompoms.

How you stack your three pompoms to make a candy corn depends on the type of pompom maker you used. Some pompom makers leave a long tail. In this case, use the tail to stack the three poms together with orange on the bottom, yellow in the middle and white on top. If you do not have a tail you can also thread the three together with a large needle and yarn.

Once the three pompoms have been attached, use sharp scissors to trim into a triangle shape. This step is what really makes your pompoms pop and look like candy corn.

Attach all the pompoms to a piece of yarn or ribbon to create a banner. The pompoms are also great table decor or ornaments for a Halloween tree. (Learn how to make the felt mask pictured above.)
