Relax to the Max

In a modern mountain-style bedroom, a contemporary love seat , tea station and a bookshelf of keepsakes create a perfect nook for relaxation and reflection. “It’s a space set up to be where you go when you get up in the morning,” says design coordinator Laurie March. “You’ve got coffee you’ve got tea you’ve got books and you can just come sit before you go out for the day.”

Zen-Like Approach

“This space is more traditional with the wood balusters for a zen loft feel,” says build and design manager Dylan Eastman.

Vibrant Hues

Nature-inspired colorful pillows lay on the floor for extra seating and lounging.

Tea Time

Along with a hot water heater kettle, a collection of exotic teas are on display to accommodate morning tea.

Streaming Natural Light

With walls of awning windows, light is able to travel deep into the space. Crank-out features and a sliding door provide accessibility to the cool, mountain breeze.

A Touch of History

“We found these prints in a local antiques store, and they’re reprints of a fire that burned down the local town of Wallace in the 1900s,” says Dylan.

Lively Accents

Thoughtful details, like this modern-inspired plant, breathes life into the the space and adds to the zen ambiance.

Stylish Storage

A vintage lunch box hints to the history of the working man in the area, and is a clever storage option for small items, like pens and stationery.

More Space for Accessories

A round side table set against a cozy love seat provides yet another spot for accents to shine and spot to rest a cup of tea.

Eye-Catching Light Fixtures

Wire pendants were selected to enhance a cozy ambiance, while allowing natural light to flow freely throughout.

Cozy Corner

Tucked in front of a pair of sliders overlooking Lake Coeur d’Alene, a cozy corner of pillows and a hanging shelf offers another comfy place to read and reflect.

Set the Mood

Live edge wood shelves dotted with flameless candles set a romantic mood and invite homeowners to destress in the evening before bedtime.

Breathtaking Views

The focal point in the zen loft is the spectacular view outside the large glass sliding doors.
