Master Bedroom From Blog Cabin 2014

A palette of soothing hues showcase lake-inspired design details, from a custom-built headboard to clever storage and a window seat that boasts picturesque views of Lake Hamilton.

To accommodate the upstairs master suite, Bath Crashers host Matt Muenster and the Blog Cabin team added 300 square feet to the widow's walk. A vaulted ceiling, prairie-style windows and soothing hues offer an intimate retreat. To incorporate an eye-catching design statement, "we found a typography map of Lake Hamilton and recreated it as the headboard," says Matt. A custom-built window seat and reach-in closet provides plenty of storage for flip-flops and clothing.
