Foyer From Blog Cabin 2012

A bright, sunny entrance, made possible by the relocation of the home's staircase, offers space to stow outerwear and welcome guests.

A standalone closet offers storage space for coats while a custom bench, tucked under front windows, provides a spot to stop, kick off boots and enjoy beautiful views from every vantage point. "The herringbone inlay in the foyer floor gives Blog Cabin a very polished look right when you walk in the front door," says House Crashers host Josh Temple. "The custom benches and seating area show function and form without ever stealing away from that million-dollar view."
