Paynes Chapel Baptist Church, located one mile from the gated entrance to the Little Pine Preserve, is nestled at the base of the Western North Carolina mountains.
Front Porch

A view of the front porch of DIY Blog Cabin showcases native pine and hardwoods that border the property and were preserved during the build process.
Treehouse Ladder

A handcrafted ladder leads visitors to the main deck of the DIY Blog Cabin treehouse. The foundation, fashioned from sturdy 2 x 8s, is visible under the deck.
Bridge Plans

A rope bridge will lead from the back deck of the DIY Blog Cabin treehouse to the roadway. A 2" x 12" board presently holds its place.
Within the Trees

The DIY Blog Cabin treehouse is situated within the Little Pine environment. Rather than clear hardwood, trees grow up through the center of the structure.
Roof Installation

The first two courses of roofing have been installed on the DIY Blog Cabin treehouse.
Spectacular View

A picturesque view of the North Carolina mountain ranges is offered at the top of the Little Pine preserve.
