Spa-Like Space

The modern style master bathroom features clean lines and appealing amenities that make it easy to relax and rejuvenate.

Upcycled Modern Vanity

A midcentury modern dresser found at an auction was upcycled to create the master bathroom's vanity with fully operable drawers, wood top with a clear stain and alabaster white-painted base. "I chose that vanity cabinet because it’s really shallow," says designer Elizabeth Demos. "We wall-mounted the faucets, because I knew I wanted the bathroom to feel like it had a lot of foot space.”

Streamlined Look

The two wall-mounted spout faucets with easy-to-use lever handles in vibrant brushed nickel sit high over the vanity's contemporary rectangular white vessel sinks.

Accessible Bath Essentials

Cotton balls, cotton swabs and shaving essentials are easily accessible in gray vintage bowls located on the top of the vanity between the two vessel sinks.

Spacious Design Tip

The large round modern mirrors with thin metal frames and brass finish above each vessel sink were mounted high to evoke the illusion that the wall seems taller.

Easy Cleaning

An intelligent, wall-hung white toilet with elongated bowl added room and comfort. Its design makes it easy to wipe down the sides and sweep under it, without having to reach on hands and knees to clean around the back of the unit.

Modern Shower Door

The all-glass shower front helps the master bathroom feel larger. The modern minimalist-look shower door with exposed rolling wheels has 3/8-inch clear tempered glass. "It has a coating on the inside that sheds water as well as helps keep it clean," says project manager Dylan Eastman.

Ventilation and View

An awning window inside the shower in black fiberglass was placed up high for privacy. The window offers ventilation and views of Camel's Hump, Vermont's third-highest mountain, highest undeveloped peak and a popular climbing and hiking destination.

Soothing Shower

The simple design and minimalist style of the showerhead and faceplate with lever handle fits the modern look of this master bathroom. The shower's handshower with a pivoting ergonomic sprayhead offers an enjoyable showering experience while also conserving water.

Seamless Look

The modern tile with pattern chosen for the shower wall matches the color of the master bathroom walls, to create a seamless look. A penny tile used for the shower floor offers subtle contrast without competing with the other finishes.

Reach for a Robe

The master bathroom includes two vibrant brushed nickel robe hooks by the shower door that keep robes close-by and easy to grab.
