Kevin heads to Tennessee to build a circular house and finds out it's hip to be round. With no flat facades or corners to catch the wind, steel-reinforced roof systems and lots of window area for passive solar comfort and breathtaking views, round homes are ideal for both coastal and mountain living. And even better, you can order the pre-engineered pieces online and put them together yourself! Then, Amy finds a titanium hammer, a home energy monitor and a bachelor-ready fridge for Cool Tools host Chris Grundy at the International Builder's Show, and Kevin's found a portable way to charge your electronics with the oldest power source of all: the sun. Plus, it was vacant, putrid and falling down, but when others wouldn't touch it, brothers KJ and Dave Kohlmyer smelled opportunity in this dilapidated Noe Valley Victorian and brought the latest products and ideas to bear. Like a stadium box, this home blows out the back to amazing valley views with the best seats in the house!
