DIY Network

Steve Bull is a master craftsman from Newport, South Wales, and is now based in San Francisco, where he teaches and applies faux and decorative finishes in some of California’s finest homes. At age 15, he began a five-year apprenticeship under a master decorator while also studying the practice and theory of decoration and design at Newport College of Art and Design. After earning his City and Guilds with honors, Steve worked as a time-indentured apprentice/journeymen, served two years in the Merchant Marines and pursued his passion for music. As one of the hosts of DIY Network’s Fresh Coat, Steve shows off his artistic expertise, creativity and unique character.
