Native New Yorker Stephanie Lydecker moved to Miami in 1998 to head up the then mayor's re-election campaign. She caught the eye of USA Network president Barry Diller, which led to Stephanie becoming the "face of the station" for USA's WAMI, hosting nightly entertainment reports and studio programs. Two years later, she moved to Los Angeles to host the reality/game series Your Favorite Girl Next Door for the FX network. A big fan of reality TV, Stephanie continued to work behind the scenes as a producer for The Bachelor, Temptation Island, and American Idol. In 2002, she began three seasons as the host of Makeover Mamas for A & E and in 2004, she went home to New York City to co-host Home Delivery for NBC Universal syndication. No stranger to the red carpet, Stephanie also hit the party circuit in 2005 as Life and Style's' correspondent. Stephanie is a favorite on-camera personality for ABC specials, appearing as a correspondent in Trista and Ryan's Wedding and as the host of Extreme Makeover: The Wedding Edition. Stephanie's vast experience made it easy to choose her to host Home Made Easy on DIY Network!
