A custom-built deck will wrap around an existing tree and include a day bed, and their children will have plenty of play space on the lush new lawn and in a customized sandbox.

However, plumbing problems continue to push his timeline and budget, and Rob worries that he may not get finished in time.

The kitchen and dining room at Rob's latest lakeside retreat are bland, boring and plain. Rob wants to have an open floor plan in his kitchen, so he knocks out several walls to bring it up to date. Since people love to congregate in the kitchen and dining room, he wants to create a natural flow between the two rooms. Rob knocks out more walls in the dining room and installs a custom painted dome and chandelier to make the dining room dazzle.
