Wes Borland and Carre Callaway explore the run-down Detroit mansion they purchased sight unseen. The amount of work they need to do to this house is overwhelming. They start off their renovations with the master suite, where they turn an adjoining bedroom into a walk-in closet that feels like a 1920s dressing room. The master bathroom is a total gut job but they're able to maintain the art deco style mixed with modern amenities. With windows and doors on every wall in the bedroom, Wes and Carre get creative by building a custom bed that frames one of the windows.

To convert this claustrophobic kitchen, tiles that run from the floor all the way up the walls and across the ceiling are removed and a wall is knocked down to give the area an open floorplan. Wes forges an art deco style light fixture while Carre repurposes cabinetry from other parts of the house and restores a 1920s dumbwaiter.
