Paul decides to build the deck in the shape of a guitar, with a hot tub area that has an interactive metal sculpture above that you can actually turn, and a fire feature.

Paul has the perfect solution, and it's big! He encompasses the pool with two lounges covered by twin pergolas with retractable awnings, a separate dining and outdoor kitchen zone, and a large sun lounging deck. Abundant fire features enable the party to continue well into the evenings, as do two large backlit see-through stone onyx panels. Glass panel railings allow the community to socialize and take in the stunning view of the lake all at the same time.

They also have an interesting request for Paul, create enough privacy so Yasmin can enjoy the outdoors without wearing her traditional Islamic headscarf. Paul's really into this one and builds a two-tiered deck. The first story level has three separate lounge zones that are completely sheltered from the rain and surrounded by retractable mesh screens to keep the bugs out. The second story level has decorative privacy screens and a curved translucent polycarbonate pergola that covers a dining zone and BBQ. This deck has a ton of style and privacy, and is truly one of a kind.

Jason Cameron brings a Sledgehammer to Christa and Josh McAlpins' house. He gives them 30 seconds to choose the rooms that they hate the most. Josh and Christa's choice is their ugly backyard deck. When Jason hands over the sledgehammers, homeowner Christa reveals that she's pregnant and can't swing the hammer. Jason steps in to help Josh get the job done, but will Josh have enough time to demolish the deck, the hot tub and the falling down shed before turning his attention to the outdated bathroom? Time runs out on the bathroom project, but Jason delivers on his promise to redo the backyard. He adds a huge new deck with an incredible play space for the couple's two-year-old daughter. Jason also shows how to create a custom grill space complete with a manufactured stone finish.
