Bryan and Kathy feel like they never get to see their kids because there's not a big enough area to hang out in for this family of 5. Their house is chopped up in to small rooms, especially their kitchen, so everyone goes their separate ways. Designer/contractor Chip Wade knows that, to bring the family together, he's going to have to make some massive changes in the home. Chip creates the gathering space by knocking down a huge feature: the fireplace that sits unused in the middle of the room. He also tackles the maze-like walls, knocking them all down to completely open up the space. The custom kitchen counter he designs has a cool home office feature and he creates a one-of-a-kind coffee table with something for everyone. Chip hopes he's created the perfect space for the family to congregate.

Momma Mac, as she's called, has an official church and congregation, but she really does her ministry from her home kitchen. She's the first one to tell you that you can stop by her house anytime and she will provide you with a hot, delicious meal and good conversation. But although she loves to cook for big groups, her kitchen is falling apart around her, not to mention that it's just too small. Designer/contractor Chip Wade steps in to help, but he has his work cut out for him. How can he take this small space and make it functional, all while providing the countertop space, storage and seating area that Momma Mac needs? Chip gets a wild idea to create a table that grows and shrinks with the number of guest they have, but it's up to his team to figure out exactly how to build it. He's also determined to put a large peninsula in that space, with lots of prep space and serving space. There's no telling how he's going to accomplish this, but it does involve a chain saw!

But once they moved in they realized that the layout of the 1930's house was not functional at all! Now a nagging question haunts Kristin and Bart: can a renovation fix the problems they have with the home or would it be better to move to a new house that would fit their needs? Designer/Contractor Chip Wade shows them the reality of what moving would really mean to their wallet, and presents them with a plan to stay in their current home. But it's a rough road as Kristin is a lot more attached to the house than she realizes and she threatens to stop down the renovation.

Episode 102F

A house on Waller Lane in Colleyville, Texas, is viewed hesitantly by all of the house movers because the property is heavily forested making it an expensive if not impossible move. Donna has a crafty plan to pull the house out through the backyard to the street behind, but she plays along like she doesn't want the house to try to keep the price low. Her plan works and she and Toni score the sweet little house for cheap. She and Toni have grand plans for the renovation, including a woman cave and Southwest decor, but will the high cost put a serious dent in their potential profit? Another house on Callender Road in Mansfield, Texas, looks promising from what little the movers can see through the kitchen door. It's clear from the exterior that at least one wall is buckling and the house could have serious structural issues. Cody is undeterred and wins the house. It's a nail biter of a move as Cody must shore-up the structure before it can be lifted. Suzi has issues with the house because of the odd layout and is shocked to find out the front entrance leads right into the bedrooms. Cody literally flips the house by turning it around and creates a new front entrance out of what was originally the kitchen door. To top it off, they make a home office out of the old entry.

Episode 103F

A house on Foster Drive in Lake Worth, Texas, is a quaint stone-clad house with a small addition. Both the Slays and Randy like it. The Slays think it will make a nice hunting cabin while Randy believes he can make money just selling the stone. The Snows think it is more work than it's worth. The bidding gets nasty between the Slays and Randy, but Cody and Suzi eventually win it. Before it can be moved, though, Cody will have to sweat it out and hack off the stone facade by hand. During the renovation, Cody and Suzi butt heads when she wants to add some of her special glam touches to the cabin and Cody wants to make it a manly space. Another house on Huron Trail in Lake Worth is a two bedroom 1960s era house in need of a significant renovation. Only half of the house is salvageable and all the electrical must be replaced. Since Randy can do that kind of work himself, he's much more interested in the house than either of the Snows or Slays. Randy gets the house at a relatively low price. When the Snow sisters heckle Randy about his design and decorating abilities, he hires designer Travis Lewis to help him out. There is tension between Randy and Travis when it is clear Randy wants to save every penny and not spend much on the design. Randy decides to surprise Travis with a unique decoration that he found.

Up for auction: a charming historic home on Main Street in Haslet, Texas, which was the area telephone operator's original headquarters. The Snow Sisters think it is adorable even though it is a 'T' shape, which means a more complicated moving process. They make no secret of their excitement about the house, as they feel Gary and Daddy can handle the move. Randy is lukewarm about it, but is interested only if the price is right. The Slays are divided: Suzi loves the house, but Cody is adamant that it would be too complicated to move. They eventually decide to pass. During the auction, it looks like Donna has it all but won when the high price forces Randy to drop out, but Suzi jumps in at the last second and the price continues to climb. Cody does everything he can to stop Suzi from bidding, and their argument leaves an opening for Donna Snow to jump in and win the auction. The Snows' plan is to cut the house in half and move it in two pieces, then decorate the house with a nod to the original style. In Weatherford, Texas, an attractive ranch is up for auction that appeals to all of the movers, but especially Randy. As the price climbs the Snows drop out, followed by the Slays. It finally gets too rich for Randy's blood and he drops out, leaving the win to an architectural salvage company owner. Randy ends up empty-handed and sour about losing the house to an outsider.

Meanwhile, Randy wins a sweet little house in excellent condition on the exterior but with a big surprise inside. The Snow sisters score a little cottage that needs a lot of TLC. Donna thinks they should pass on the sad little house because it is in bad shape, but Toni thinks it is an ugly duckling that will turn into a beautiful swan. Once the house is moved, the sisters find inspiration and give the kitchen a 1950s feel. Randy starts out with money in his pocket when he grabs a little box house addition that he was paid $500 to haul away. He puts the house on a trailer and turns it into a hip movable house that will attract interest at auction. There is bound to be a lot of competition between these two small houses on auction day.

Randy discovers that his new house is straight out of the 1970's on the inside with a faux fireplace, vaulted beam ceiling and wall-to-wall knotty pine. The master suite resembles a hotel room with separate toilet and sink areas. Randy's plan is to update it throughout and create a master bath with a large walk-in closet all while giving a nod to the 70's style. When the Snows get outbid at another auction, they still have an ace up their sleeves. The Sisters decide to use a pool house that had come with another house they had won and to turn the 245 SF shell on a slab with no plumbing into a cute cottage complete with kitchen, bathroom, and living space. They finish it off with an adorable porch with natural cedar posts and railings.

On the inside, he decides to go with a combination of retro design with modern functionality. Cody scores a large house, but has to knock it down when he can't get anyone to move it.
