The Pine Creek wildfires ripped through the Bozeman, MT area - devastating the landscape and destroying homes in its path. The Pitman family was one of the families that lost almost everything. While their home suffered major fire and smoke damage, it still was standing after the fire. However their adjacent barn and workshop was completely destroyed by the raging fire. The barn housed the couple's offices as well as a lifetime of precious personal items. With the help of the Catastrophe Inc. team, the Pitman's look forward to the possibilities that a renovated home can hold for them. Disaster specialists Ed, Enzo, Joe and interior designer Kari repair the fire damaged interior of the Pitman home as well as completely remodeling and updating the space. Also, the team rebuilds their barn from the ground up – a huge project to complete in sub-zero temperatures, snow and 40 mile-per-hour wind gusts.

A multi-cultural family breathes life into their blank-slate rec room with help from Anitra and the Mega Dens team. A narrow doorway separating two unused spaces is blown open to create on large family-friendly zone with two distinct personalities: a swanky media room with seating for grown-up get-togethers and a fun game room with shuffleboard and a kids' play loft with indoor slide. Joey uses super-rare Purple Heart wood to build the most striking entertainment center in Mega Dens history and then tops it off with the largest TV the team has ever used. There's also a heavy rustic-and-recycled vibe, with massive walnut timbers that are turned into a coffee table and a ceiling lamp made with just 300 yards of jute twine and glue. Add a custom wall mural featuring an eight-foot-tall Buddha head and Chinese lettering added by the homeowner and this Mega Den will blow everyone away.

Downstairs is done at the Akron, Ohio house Nicole is rehabbing with LeBron and his foundation and now attention turns to the bathroom. This bathroom is a gut-job but the saving grace for Nicole is a beautiful, old built in cabinet which she and her army of volunteers restore. Leaving her tilers for an hour or two Nicole gets dressed up and heads to a huge stadium event to welcome the basketball superstar back to Akron.

LeBron and his kids spar off with Nicole in a duel of diggers to tear out the front steps and regrade the yard. Lifting up the garage to pour a new foundation beats the cost of building a new one from scratch. This house also needs a new roof, which is a first for Nicole on a project. Work continues on Nicole's project in her hometown of Detroit, Michigan. The 1920s duplex lower unit's kitchen and bathroom need a lot of work, and fire damage isn't the only thing causing problems. The main plumbing stack that runs between both rooms has a huge crack in it, causing years of water damage that has the wall crumbling at the touch. A room off the back of the kitchen seems to have no purpose until Nicole comes up with the idea to turn it into a home office.

Tired of the house being an eyesore in the neighborhood, Nicole must remove all the debris left over from demolishing the burnt out house on the lot next door. Nicole tackles the exterior fire damaged areas by replacing the shakes siding and painting it to match the original color.
