Transplants David and Kiki moved to Austin for the vibrant music and food scene, but their stark graveled yard is a far cry from an entertaining space. They want a place to play music and share food and cocktails with friends. Inspired by Austin's eclectic and funky scene, Chris designs an outdoor room with a lounge area with low bench seating and a covered pergola, grass for the couple's dog, and an outdoor bar faced in wood and metal. He also adds a performing stage with a colorful plexiglass screen backdrop, a shell keg water feature, and fence for privacy. Finally, for some fun, Chris adds a graffiti inspired dart board and a large building block game.
