They're Back!

Rev Run and his wife, Justine, are back to tackle all the spaces they didn't remodel in the first season of Rev Run's Renovation. This time, they're heading outdoors to renovate their pool, yard and exterior for better curb appeal.

From: Rev Run

Before: Hidden Beauty

Rev and Justine decided that repainting and refurbishing their home's facade and front yard was a great place to start their renovation project.

From: Rev Run

After: Killer Curb Appeal

A long, harsh winter destroyed the curb appeal of their beautiful home. To fix the problem, they upgraded the roof, repainted, removed trees and shrubs, and installed a new fountain in the driveway.

Before: Laundry Room

Redesigning and renovating their drab laundry room, Rev and Justine converted the fabulous space for visiting family and friends.

From: Rev Run

After: Modern Guest Bedroom

Transforming what was once a laundry room, the family created this polished, welcoming space perfect for overnight guests with a muted color palette accented with pops of yellow.

From: Rev Run

Hidden Comfort

The room features a space-saving sitting area that easily converts into a fold-down bed.

From: Rev Run

Overnight Entertainment

The room also features a sleek shelving system that opens to reveal a flatscreen television.

Before: Blah Basement

Originally the Simmons' basement served as a lounge area and game room filled with outdated, mismatched furniture and an overpowering wall color.

After: Modern Family

Complete with a new paint scheme and modern furnishings, the Simmons' basement sitting area is now a hip place for the entire family to enjoy.

From: Rev Run

Contemporary Comfort

Using vibrant, contemporary artwork as the room's focal point, the Simmons family removed their tired, old seating and replaced it with sleek, new furnishings.

Kid-Friendly Fun

While the basement got a style update, it didn't lose its fun factor. The family added a foosball table that matched the color scheme of the room.

Stylish Sitting

They also added plenty of built-in seating near the bowling lane so that every game could be a family affair.

Scoreboard Says...

No need to keep score; they installed a flat screen television above the lane to do the work for them.

Colorful Cubbies

Using white as a base, the revamped basement employs red as an accent color in elements like this cubby shelf, which is perfect for reducing clutter in their sleek, modern home.

Arcade Alcove

Instead of cluttering the basement sitting area, these vintage video game consoles were tucked into a small alcove in the downstairs common room. Not only are these giant machines kept out of the way, but the bright white walls serve as the perfect backdrop to display fun, colorful memorabilia.

Before: Dated Backyard

Like the front exterior, the backyard and the pool area also needed some updating.

From: Rev Run

After: Grillin' Out

After renovating the swimming pool tiles and pumping system, they added some outdoor seating areas for entertaining and sunbathing.

From: Rev Run

Pool House Power-Up

They also added seating outside the pool house and installed large, sliding glass doors to create a relaxing space bathed in natural light.

Before: Clearing Out the Clutter

Mostly used for storage, the interior of the pool house lay forgotten and unused.

From: Rev Run

After: Relaxation Station

They transformed the interior of the pool house into the perfect place for relaxing, using a cool color palette of blues and grays but keeping with the modern aesthetic of the main house.

From: Rev Run

Open-Air Updates

Sliding-glass doors reveal a perfect view of the pool and the main house. With doors in the front and back, it's the ideal spot to catch a breeze and escape from the summer sun.

From: Rev Run

Before: Revamping the Salon

Before the update, the other side of the basement was used as both the foyer to the movie theater and a salon.

From: Rev Run

After: Spa Style

Enclosing the salon space, Justine also added two pedicure tubs perfect for mom-and-daughter primping dates.

From: Rev Run

Hair Haven

They also installed new, salon-grade equipment like this hair sink and stationary seat.

From: Rev Run

Music to His Ears

While Justine's happy place exists in the salon, Rev made a special place of his own, converting the original movie theater into a home office and recording studio.

From: Rev Run

Face the Music

Like a true recording studio, they added a soundproof room with mics to pick up the clearest sound possible when laying down tracks.

From: Rev Run

Before: Dated Dining Room

The Simmons' old dining room lacked the modern aesthetic they desired for their home.

From: Rev Run

After: Custom and Contemporary

From light fixture to floor, they completely modernized the eating space, creating a lovely space for entertaining and enjoying family meals.

From: Rev Run

Demure Details

Rather than creating a room overdone with ornate details, the Simmons' modern style shines through delicately chosen details like these unique, studded chairs.

From: Rev Run

Just for Miley

Miley, Rev and Justine's youngest child, got a very special gift during the renovation: a "treehouse" fit for a princess situated between the main house and the pool house.

From: Rev Run

A Place to Play

The interior of Miley's tree house not only features a 'tree' growing through the middle of the room, it is also equipped with a bunk bed, play kitchen and a sitting area for tea parties.

From: Rev Run

Before: Make a Move-ie

The old movie theater did not need much work. However, to accommodate other exciting projects in the basement, it needed to be moved...so why not spruce it up in the process?

From: Rev Run

After: Best Seats in the House

They purchased some new theater seating and painted the walls a deep burgundy. For a fun twist, they even made the entrance a secret door.

From: Rev Run

Sit Back, Relax

After such a extensive, successful renovation, there's no doubt the Simmons family grabbed some popcorn and settled into a great movie in their new home theater.
