Decked Out

Rev's back deck has seen better days. Completely untouched since the house was built, it's fallen into disrepair. Rev and Justine turn the demo into a family affair in hopes of saving money and speeding the process along, but structural surprises and permit delays put their patience to the test.

Pool House Relaxation

The newly renovated pool house with new ceramic tile flooring, glass folding doors, and new furniture, as seen on DIY Network's Rev Run's Renovation. Rev and Justine transformed the interior of the pool house into the perfect place for relaxing, using a cool color palette of blues and grays but keeping with the modern aesthetic of the main house.

Killer Curb Appeal

The home of Russell Simmons, a.k.a. Rev Run, as seen on Rev Run's Renovation. A long, harsh winter destroyed the curb appeal of their beautiful home. To fix the problem, they upgraded the roof, repainted, removed trees and shrubs, and installed a new fountain in the driveway.

Jazzed Up Seating Area

The after picture of the basement seating area featuring new paint scheme and modern furniture, as seen on DIY Network's Rev Run's Renovation. Using vibrant, contemporary artwork as the room's focal point, the Simmons family removed their tired, old seating and replaced it with sleek, new furnishings.

Miley's Treehouse

The interior of Miley's tree house not only features a 'tree' growing through the middle of the room, it is also equipped with a bunk bed, play kitchen and a sitting area for tea parties as seen on DIY Network’s original series Rev Run’s Renovation.

Diggy's Spa Bath

AFTER: The bathroom was upgraded with a jacuzzi tub and a stand-up glass shower. The entryway is much more open since the back wall was extended to allow for more walking space.

Hearth and Home

AFTER: The wall unit has been removed and this sleek, modern gas fireplace, with flat-screen TV mounted above, has taken the place of a no-longer-used fish tank. The wall behind is painted in a muted grey, subtly offsetting the white walls in the rest of the room featured on DIY Network’s Rev Run's Renovation.

Time to Face the Music

The recording studio was scheduled to be updated and renovated. Like a true recording studio, they added this soundproof room with mics to pick up the clearest sound possible when laying down tracks as seen on DIY Network’s original series Rev Run’s Renovation.

Diggy's Tired Bedroom

BEFORE: Diggy Simmons has grown up, but his room hasn't changed. It was time to trade in the stuffed animals and video games for a more mature bedroom. Diggy also needed more storage space and more privacy from the rest of the house as seen on DIY Network’s Rev Run's Renovation.
