Stephen is hired to do a small bathroom renovation for a client's Upper East Side pied-a-terre. But when the team discovers the apartment plumbing isn't up to code, the size of the project increases dramatically. Murphy's Law is in full effect as this small job becomes a big headache.

Transformed Living Room

The living room, formerly the master bedroom, underwent a dramatic transformation thanks to Stephen Fanuka and his crew. A beautiful antique wooden bookcase was relocated to this room, as well as a new window on the northwest wall as seen here on DIY Network's Million Dollar Contractor.

Bright and Open Living Room

Designer, Stephen Fanuka goal on this project was to take a studio apartment and incorporate it into the existing home. Removing a wall and pushing the old space back, this new living room is open and engaging on DIY Network's Million Dollar Contractor.

Floating Living Room Staircase
