Mom's Updated Traditional -- Cabinet Install

Host Paul Ryan's mother needs a new kitchen. He and his equally handy brothers are pitching in to give their mother the kitchen of her dreams. They gut the entire space, pulling out '60s-era metal cabinets, four layers of linoleum and dingy looking white countertops. In its place a traditional kitchen with vintage charm will emerge.

In this second of three episodes, Paul and his brothers really make progress as they install the new semi-custom cabinets with a mix of cognac and garnet finishes. They make the sink cabinet look like a piece of furniture with beadboard and bun feet and create a focal point with the range hood installation. A customized desk is created for better organization for mom and they brighten up the space with under-cabinet lighting.
