Season 3, Episode 9

Repurposed and Refueled

TJ and Kate bought their 2-bedroom Craftsman because it had a huge backyard with lots of potential. Unfortunately, they are stuck on what to do with it. Landscape designer Sara Bendrick works with their existing features to create an eclectic entertaining space. The rundown pergola gets a facelift and is expanded, a lopsided brick fireplace gets balanced out with a second planter, old windows are stacked to form a wall and create an intimate entertaining space, and an old shed is repurposed into a backyard bar.
