Licensed contractor Josh Temple and his House Crashers crew head to coastal Waldoboro, Maine to build out the living room of the nineteenth-century farmhouse selected as the 2012 Blog Cabin. In three days, Josh transforms the living room into a comfy, inviting space using reclaimed materials with rustic charm. A shelving unit and a message center are built to help organize the space, a window seat is added to emphasize the breathtaking water views and an antique card table is repurposed into a unique coffee table.
Inspired by the breathtaking views, an outdoor space wraps the side of the house, providing shade from the intense midday sun. A pergola roof, vertical garden and grill station create the ultimate outdoor escape.
