Season 5, Episode 6

Blog Cabin's Desperate Landscape

Desperate Landscapes host Jason Cameron and his crew hit the road for Virginia to take on DIY Network's Blog Cabin 2011. Jason and Blog Cabin host Matt Blashaw get to work putting DIY Network viewers' votes into action, starting off with the addition of a cobblestone system entryway. They also add circular steps and hang new shutters. Plus, the crew pours a huge new oyster-shell driveway and adds new trees to transform this desperate Blog Cabin into a stunning Chesapeake getaway.

The Ultimate Outdoor Escape

Inspired by the breathtaking views, an outdoor space wraps the side of the house, providing shade from the intense midday sun. A pergola roof, vertical garden and grill station create the ultimate outdoor escape.
