Roger Cook has offered his expert advice as landscape contractor on This Old House for 19 seasons, and more recently, on Ask This Old House and Inside This Old House. In 1982, while working as landscape foreman for the Frost and Higgins Company, Roger began contributing to This Old House projects and, in 1988, became the show’s full time landscape contractor. He has a Bachelor of Science in wildlife management and conservation law from the University of Maine and is a certified landscape contractor in Massachusetts, an active member of the Massachusetts Arborist Association and former president of the board of directors of New England Grows and the Association of Landscape Contractors of Massachusetts. He and his wife own and operate K & R Tree and Landscape Co, Inc. He currently serves on the editorial board of This Old House magazine, published by This Old House Ventures, Inc., and most recently contributed to Complete Landscaping, published by This Old House Books in conjunction with Sunset Books in 2004.
