Decorative concrete isn't just for kitchen countertops anymore! These days you can make planters, bistro tables, and even bathtubs. But to find the Zen of concrete, you've got to go to California. So Dean and Derek travel to San Francisco to Buddy Rhodes' studio to try their hand at building a concrete bistro table and colorful stools. It's a step-by-step process designed for the do-it-yourselfer featuring a special concrete blend and reusable fiberglass molds. The unique blend is so workable that Dean and Derek apply it vertically to molds. After a special setting process, they pop open the molds, and voila! They have original concrete creations that can be finished with a vast array of colors and styles. It's enough to make two hard-core stone masons think about giving up their work boots to live as bohemian artists...or at least get their trowels tie-dyed.
