Paul Ryan is one of those guys who doesn't feel completely dressed unless he's wearing a tool belt. If something's broken, Paul can fix it. If someone can imagine it, Paul can build it. He began his career as a carpenter and inspector at Valleyfair Amusement Park in Shakopee, Minn. And because the park was basically a small city, Paul became a pro in virtually every aspect of handyman work and home improvement. As lead carpenter, Paul was regularly required to troubleshoot problems and figure out how to fix them fast and fix them right. As a result he's become a skilled carpenter, plumber, handyman and storm damage expert. Paul has brought his expertise to various DIY Network programs, including one focused on home energy savings. Today, you can catch him tackling one of the most important rooms of the house on DIY Network’s popular Kitchen Renovations series.
