How to Build a Rainwater Diverter and Rain Barrel

The simplest way to harvest rainwater is to install a rain barrel. Rain from gutters runs through a downpipe where a diverter channels water into the barrel. Once the barrel is full, water flows down into the ground as normal.

Position Base
