4. Install a sidewalk or stepping-stone path from the driveway under the tree to the front door. Plant shade-loving plants such as hosta along both sides of the walkway.
5. Paint the front door a bright color and flank with large containers. Fill the planters with bright flowering annuals to draw the eye to the front entrance and welcome visitors to your home.
