A master woodworker and carpenter, Norm Abram has guided innumerable viewers through the hands-on process of home renovation and furniture making for more than a decade. As a youngster, Norm made wooden toys for his sister, and his interest in woodworking grew from there. Since then, he has taught and inspired others to make beautiful creations from wood. Norm completes each New Yankee project in about two days, performing all the work himself, and only using an assistant for cleanup and finishes.
