A plain kitchen is given a generous dose of cottage-style charm with white beadboard paneling and some black-and-white culinary prints.

We sprinkled a sophisticated black-and-white motif throughout this adorable cottage kitchen. To continue the look on the backsplash, white beadboard is cut to size then vintage-style prints are adhered to the beadboard. Then the beadboard is fastened to the backsplash area. Here's what you'll need to get the job done: pre-primed 1/4" beadboard, vintage prints (we found ours on Etsy), vellum paper (or plain white paper), decoupage glue, paintbrush, white caulking adhesive, white paint, small paint roller, paint pan, jigsaw, tape measure, scissors, painter's tape and brown paper for the template.
