Homeowner Erica and her mom, Mary, run a specialized travel agency out of one half of the large condo they purchased on the ground floor of a historic pre-WWI stone apartment building. The space was previously inhabited by a restaurant, Loretta's Tea Room. Now in its place we're going to help create a stylish new kitchen entirely from scratch.

In this third of four parts things really start to take shape in our urban kitchen makeover as host Paul Ryan adds an innovative hidden support shelving system. Then he installs an elegant Mexican limestone tile, mixed with recycled glass tiles in cool shades of green. The beautiful lava countertop is set in place and then the sculptural stainless sink can be installed. To wrap this phase we install a high style stainless range hood.
