Urban Contemporary (48-hour Makeover)

Episode DKTN-209

Take one look at Todd's home and you can tell that he's an artist. Bold colors fill his 1920's story-and-a-half home. Todd bought his house two years ago. He says he likes designing his own space, turning his home into one big art piece. Although he's brought color to his kitchen, he hasn't been able to make it more functional.

Right now the small space just doesn't work well. The refrigerator and stove are positioned next to each other with no counter space left over for either one. There's no space for a dishwasher, the peninsula cabinets block the view to the dining room and overall the style is pretty lackluster.

We're going to turn it around with a new layout and a great urban contemporary style that fits the homeowner and the home.
