Darcy and Heidi recently found a home they love, but it needs a lot of work. Fortunately, Darcy is a very handy guy — and he's a home inspector — so he has a lot of skills that he'll use in the kitchen remodel. He's already completely torn out the old kitchen, and now host Paul Ryan is here to help create a fabulous new kitchen with a combination of rustic and contemporary elements.

In the final episode of our rustic contemporary makeover things really come alive as Paul and the homeowners grout the backsplash. The high-tech appliances are installed and they use an airlifter to make moving the heavy fridge a breeze. The project is wrapped up by installing the period lighting and an all-in-one kitchen entertainment system.
