Master builder and certified home inspector Karl Champley has been involved in the building trade for more than 20 years, on two continents. He is a member of the Master Builder’s Association of New South Wales in Australia and is a certified home inspector in the United States. As a highly qualified tradesman, contractor and building consultant for both residential and commercial construction, he has won numerous awards, including one for a remodel of a four-story home in Sydney and one for the project management and construction of the glass house at the Royal Sydney Botanical Gardens. He’s currently building his family a modern green home situated in California’s Santa Monica Mountains. So they’d have a place to rest their heads at night during the construction, Karl demolished their garage and created a beautifully designed small home. There’s nothing he can’t do. Catch Karl’s expert advice on DIY Network’s Wasted Spaces.
