A professional carpenter with more than 15 years of experience, Jeff Devlin has a passion for designing, creating and building things. He started as an apprentice for a historic home remodeler, where he honed his skills in the trade and gained a deep appreciation for the character, craftsmanship and beauty of historic dwellings. Jeff’s passion and dedication, along with his natural ability to entertain, led him to the world of television. His first gig was host and resident carpenter of HGTV’s series Spice Up My Kitchen. Jeff has also remained very hands-on with his own custom woodworking company, SchoolHouse Woodworking. Jeff is a licensed contractor and does everything from complete kitchen, bathroom and basement renovations to custom built-ins, furniture and woodwork. Jeff’s love for fixing things and his hard-earned experience perfecting his craft has led him to completely renovate two historic Pennsylvania farmhouses, one of which he currently calls home. As host of DIY Network’s I Hate My Bath, Jeff gives homeowners hope with economical yet clever bathroom renovation ideas using amazing new products and cool tools. On Good, Better, Best, Jeff helps homeowners choose between three different contractors’ bids.
