DIY Network

As host of DIY Network's Turf War, Jay Baker encourages friendly neighborhood competition with the promise of $10,000 and the title of the best yard on the block to homeowners who transform their yards into the most spectacular outdoor spaces. Combining his skills as a carpenter and handyman, Jay has hosted several shows on DIY Network since 2001, first as an on-air carpenter for DIY Network's Emmy-nominated home improvement program Warehouse Warriors. Jay then went on to host a number of other home improvement programs, including Move It Outside, Bonus Room Breakout, Backyard Blowout, Build an Outdoor Kitchen and Project Paradise. In 2003, he and his co-hosts from Warehouse Warriors provided their carpentry and contracting expertise to the families of service men and women serving in Iraq for the DIY Network series Help on the Homefront.
