Dean and Derek use a majestic tree as the focal point for an outdoor den. John and Sandy have a beautiful traditional colonial house with good ol' southern charm! But the backyard is less than charming and the indoors is too formal. So Dean and Derek build the perfect outdoor den starting with a low curved retaining wall. They add terracotta colored pavers and a circular fire pit. Off to the side, they build a multi-tiered pondless water feature complete with plenty of Lilly pads and Water Hyacinth. It's the perfect retreat with all the comforts of home under a grand old tree.
