On this edition of Indoors Out, Dean and Derek are at the site of Blog Cabin 2010 teaming up with special guest John DeSilvia from DIY's Ten Grand In Your Hand to transform the barren backyard into a stunning outdoor deck and patio overlooking the Catskills of New York. They start by installing top-of-the-line composite decking with a unique super fast clip system. They add rustic square picket railings with oversized posts, which they top off with bluestone caps. Centered off the sliding glass doors, they attach huge stadium stairs leading down to a bluestone patio. For those cool mountain nights, they build a dry stacked circular stone fire pit. To finish it off, they attach handcrafted shutters, add lush plants, and bring in relaxing furniture made from natural wood. It's the perfect outdoor space overlooking a majestic view in the Catskills of New York.
